Every year Teach In supports hundreds of teachers from Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the USA in embarking on a UK teaching experience. Our office is located in Sydney, Australia, and services both Australia and NZ. Our overseas team members are qualified teachers with experience in living and working in other countries, making them uniquely qualified to help you with your move.

Meet the Team

Emma Roberts – Group Overseas Director

Emma is responsible for overseeing all international teacher placements. Emma has worked in education recruitment for over 20 years, previously working and living in the UK, managing the recruitment of teachers globally. She has also worked closely with schools, LEA’s and Academy Trusts to create collaborative partnerships to provide the best quality local and international teachers. Originally qualified as secondary PE and Science teacher, Emma taught in a range of secondary schools in London UK and in Australia.

Katherine Gibson – international Relationships and Marketing Executive

Katherine is responsible for managing University partnerships globally. Katherine has worked in recruitment for the last 13 years, so is able to deliver bespoke service to specific teacher groups around the world. She enjoys connecting with teachers on social platforms and providing interesting and helpful content to support teachers their UK teaching journey.  She is originally trained as a secondary Art and Design teachers and has taught in the UK and Australia.
